Here’s the full set on Wowhead
This one just breaks my heart. When I’m designing a transmog set, I start with a piece I love — in this case, Bulwark of the Ancient Kings — and check Wowhead to ensure it’s still around before pulling together the rest of the set. But while scouring the comments section in preparation for this post I discovered that, whatever Wowhead might suggest, the pattern required to create this breastplate is no longer available.
Even worse, the item is soulbound when crafted, which means only blacksmiths who learned the pattern before the removal of armour specializations could ever hope to use it.
If you meet that criteria, I envy you greatly.
If you don’t, Heroic Judicator’s Chestguard is an okay substitute.
I recently discovered “Northern Barrier” for sale on my Auction House. Now I just need to level a shaman…
Shoulders: The Wavemender’s Mantle
Chest: Tunic of the Artifact Guardian
Hands: Corpse Scarab Handguards
Waist: Belt of the Beloved Companion
Legs: Mammoth Legwraps
Feet: Titan-Forged Sabatons of Triumph
Main-Hand: Brutal Gladiator’s Salvation
Off-Hand: Northern Barrier
Here’s the full set on Wowhead.
Shamans don’t get a lot of love on this blog, largely because they’re one of the few classes I’ve never really played. But that shield, man. Who wouldn’t want to bash someone’s face in with that ridiculous handlebar moustache?
Or, uh, heal.
Or whatever it is shamans do.
I don’t know, okay? Something about… totems?
(Yadayada, hunters, please pretend the above Main Hand and Off-Hand are actually the Naxx 25 crossbow Final Voyage.)
