Okay, please don’t ask me what I was drinking when I went and labeled all the image files “cloth transmog.” This is a set for monks so, yeah, we’re talking handworked animal skins, not floral cotton/silk blends.
And speaking of monks, I’m so happy with this set, you have no idea. It’s not so much that I even like the look, though I do, it’s that it looks like something a monk would wear. Because they’re a (comparatively) new class, I sometimes struggle with the monk aesthetic. I know what a druid looks like. I know what a rogue looks like. But what a monk looks like, when he’s not wearing that classic limpet-shell hat? No freaking clue.
But this set, this works! This looks like a — oh, he’s wearing the hat, isn’t he?
Shoulders: Abandoned Spaulders of Arrowflight
Chest: Fenclaw Armor
Hands: Enchanted Felscale Gloves
Waist: Lifecycle Waistguard
Legs: Ironscale Leggings
Feet: Furious Gladiator’s Sabatons of Triumph
Main-Hand: Black Bow of the Betrayer
Here’s the full set on Wowhead.
Okay, so maybe it’s a little unfair to tag a set built around a rather large bow as “Shaman-friendly,” but I’m sticking to my guns, here. Even without the large projectile-lobbing accessory at your side, the set still works. More than anything, I’m in love with those shoulders. Abandoned Spaulders of Arrowflight are a fantastic, if frustratingly rare, addition to your void stora, and for the Shamans in the audience there’s a Shaman-locked alternative available to double your odds.
If you’re a Shaman and you’re desperate for a similar look, the Kromog’s Protecting Palm or Elementium Stoneshield paired with the Skullthumper of Trials (unsurprisingly, available from the Proving Grounds) might help move you in the right direction.
Exhibit A: Boobs.
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Roiling Inferno / Mantle of the Shattered Vale (Druid Only)
Chest: Thunderlord Chestguard
Hands: Marshseeker Gloves
Waist: Dragonmaw Emergency Strap
Legs: Warchief Kilt
Feet: Sandstalker Ankleguards
Main-Hand: Kil’ruk’s Furious Blade
Here’s the full set on Wowhead. And here it is again, this time in green.
Okay, this set has to begin with a whole bunch of apologies. Despite still being theoretically available because it’s BoE and may surface on the auction house (heck, I’m pretty sure I have one lying around somewhere), as of Mists of Pandaria the Warchief Kilt is no longer available as a dungeon drop. The closest you’d get to an alternative is Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt; a green dungeon drop that can let you build a green version of this transmog set that’s also pretty great.
Exhibit B: Moobs.
And here’s another head-scratcher — Wowhead is displaying all sets of Shoulders of the Roiling Inferno and Dragonmaw Emergency Strap as being no longer available in game, this despite the fact they’re a drop from MoP raids that obviously still exist. I have no idea why this is. If anyone has an answer on this, let me know.
(Sadly, available or not, Shoulders of the Roiling Inferno is an intellect item, so only classes with an intellect-spec can win it based on MoP’s loot rules. Rogues need not apply.)
Oh yeah, and this outfit is super sexy — amazingly, not just on women, but on men as well. How the orcs survive wearing such little clothing, I have no idea.
